The Hospitals in the West is an administration within the Västra Götaland Region and consists of four hospitals – Alingsås Hospital, Angered Local Hospital, Högsbo Local Hospital, and Kungälv Hospital. Approximately 3000 employees work with us every day to provide good and safe specialist healthcare of the highest quality.

Description

The Medical area at Kungälv Hospital includes specialties such as cardiology, diabetology, gastroenterology, hematology, and internal medicine.

In the operation, there are three wards, outpatient care, and medical day care.

In the medical day care, we take care of patients with hematological and gastroenterological diagnoses. The unit is open during weekdays, and we are now looking for a nurse who wants to be part of our fantastic team.

Responsibilities

In the medical day care, you will work with our patients with hematological diagnoses. The work includes investigations, chemotherapy treatments, transfusions, sample collections, telephone advice, and more. We have close patient contact and follow many patients over a longer period.

Qualifications

Licensed nurse. We prefer that you have a few years of experience and feel secure in your professional role. If you have previously worked in the medical field and have experience in hematology, it is an advantage. You have the ability to work with your colleagues to drive and improve the operation, which means that independence and a willingness to develop are positive traits! Personal suitability is highly valued.

Conditions

The employment is a temporary position for 1 year but may be extended.
